Intimate Jam Factory Wedding

“Intimate is not a number, it’s a feeling”. This quote by Montana Lee Photography spoke so true to me when I experienced Lindsay and JT’s wedding day. The amount of sentimental touches that these two incorporated into their day was incredible. I could feel the love as soon as I walked in to see them.

We spent the morning with the fellas. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by their sweet little Weiner dog, Georgie. Puppy snuggles, what a way to start the morning! You could tell right away that this group of friends were more like brothers. We cheers’d to an amazing evening ahead and then took off to see Lindsay and her ladies.

The ladies got ready at The VandenBurg House - a beautiful open event space. When we arrived everyone greeted us with open arms and huge hugs (I’m a sucker for a good hug). Lindsay had a Cinderella moment just before heading out the door and it was so sweet to watch all of her besties come together to fuss over her.

We were on our way to Osgoode Hall, a sentimental spot as Lindsay frequently works there, for the couple’s first look. The overwhelm had hit both of them but as soon as they saw each other it was like a calm came over them - I felt it. When they were ready, Lindsay’s Maid of Honour came around the corner with their fur baby and it was the sweetest moment I have ever seen! They snuggled with Georgie for a bit and then it was off to get them married!

This was my first time capturing a love story at The Jam Factory. I had heard a lot of good things about the space, seen beautiful photos, but it wasn’t until I walked in that I realized just how intimate this space was filled with Lindsay and JT’s sentimental touches. Soon guests started to arrive and it was Go Time!

The couple wrote their own vows so you can imagine how much of a mess I was trying to fight back tears so my camera didn’t fog up. The words that came pouring out were perfect and beautiful with just a little humour thrown in. Sealing it with a kiss, they’re married! They spent 10 minutes alone in the back by the kitchen where there was a little table and chairs set up. They enjoyed charcuterie, popped champagne and revelled in the fact that they just got married!

Cocktail hour was spent below The Jam Factory in the cafe where they had a pianist serenading their guests so that upstairs could be turned into their reception area. Just before allowing their guests to come up for dinner, Lindsay and JT headed up to check it out for themselves and they were FLOORED! The intimate vibes and stunning, simplistic decor was making their dreams come true.

We ended the night with amazing food, heart-filled speeches and intimate dances, then the party started! This is definitely a day that will stay with me forever.

Thank you, once again Lindsay and JT, it means so much that you trusted us to document your intimate wedding day, xo.
