A Penryn Park Autumn Wedding
I pulled up to the Mansion of Penryn Park at the Port Hope Golf Club, took a deep breath, turned off my car and said to myself, “today is going to be a kick ass day” and I was right….
The exact moment that I walked into Meghan’s bridal suite I was greeted and introduced to all of her favourite ladies. This bride tribe managed to make me feel just like one of the girls from the moment I met them. Big hugs, someone handing me snacks and another handing me a mimosa. By that greeting I’d say that I had just walked into my mom’s house!
Before we knew it, Meg was in her dress waiting patiently for Tyler to show up for their first look.
A BEAR HUG is what Meg gave Ty from behind, and when he turned around? Damnnn. Smiles from ear to ear from both of them, I even saw Ty shed a tear. So. Flippin’. Sweet. With sharing a first look, their timeline ended up running flawlessly. Plus, they got to have a few extra minutes of chill time together before the ceremony.
Cut to the reception when Meg’s maid of honour goes to share her speech. “I would just like all of the guys to take a look under their seat”, she says… Smirnoff ice ice baby! Yes, they were iced and it was amazing. A family style dinner was served then it was time to dance and the guests at this wedding didn’t have a single problem with that!!
